The order was completed as part of experimental design work commissioned by UZGA. The wing box is the main structural part of the aircraft wing, representing a strong internal structure that withstands aerodynamic loads.

UZGA reminded that the TVRS-44 "Ladoga" turboprop aircraft is being developed for local airlines with 44 passenger seats, taking into account the specifics of operation in remote regions with harsh climatic conditions.

The plant is creating "Ladoga" under the order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia to replace the outdated fleet of Soviet small-sized aircraft An-24/26 and Yak-40. The aircraft will help improve the transport accessibility of settlements in the Far North, Siberia, and the Far East. The first prototype will be built by the end of 2025.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the "Superjet" with PD-8 engines passed a rigorous test in Zhukovsky.
