Digital student IDs are planned to be implemented in 45 universities in Tatarstan, according to the Minister of Digital Development of the Republic, Ilya Nachvin. The electronic ID with a QR code in Max will replace paper documents.
Our growth point is a digital student ID. [...] It will be possible to use a QR code for various life situations, including access to dormitories and educational institutions.
The pilot project has been launched in nine universities, and the system will later be extended to the rest. According to the minister, there is no direct task to promote Max before the department, but the number of users will grow due to the convenience of the service. Now, through the application, you can pay for communication services, traffic fines, kindergarten, and submit meter readings.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Ministry of Transport of Russia, together with SberTroika and the Max messenger, launched an experiment on digital confirmation of benefits when paying for travel on March 1, 2026. At the initial stage, the service was launched in several cities in the Novosibirsk and Vladimir regions.
