The microchip manufacturer "Mikron" is conducting a vote among users to determine the name for its new device. Originally developed as a debugging kit under the working title "Gaming Console", the device has been released in a small series and is addressed to developers, teachers, students and schoolchildren, according to the company's official channel.
The anonymous survey offers a choice of five options: Mikrosha, Emka, Amurika, AmurMIK and MikronIK.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the "Mikron" plant was instructed to create an analogue of the American high-precision controller ARCHER for the production of chips. Investments in the most complex project will exceed 1.5 billion rubles, the customer is the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Experts agree that the development deadlines are chosen very tightly — until the end of July 2029.
