The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the Rostec State Corporation) has announced the beginning of a new stage in the development of civil aviation. In the coming years, key domestic airliners — MC-21, Tu-214, and SJ-100 — will take wing, becoming the basis for updating the fleet of Russian airlines.
The corporation plans to complete the certification of new models and begin their serial production as early as 2026.

UAC noted that all work is being carried out in cooperation with the largest enterprises in the industry. Special attention is paid to import substitution, localization of components, and the creation of a modern production base in a number of cities in the country.
The Russian aviation industry will also begin developing a new generation of civil aircraft from 2028–2029.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russia will earn billions of dollars for the aviation industry by producing SJ-100 abroad.
