The Moscow Transport Service Directorate (MDTO, which organizes transport services in the capital and provides transport for mass events) will purchase 47 Moskvich 6 cars. The cars will be used for patrol service.
In mid-January, it became known that MDTO had ordered 10 Moskvich 6s. The initial cost of the purchase was 36.4 million rubles.
Serial production of the Moskvich 6 liftback began in the fall of 2023. The model is produced at the former Renault plant in Moscow.
In 2025, Russia recorded a 33% drop in sales of Moskvich cars. In total, 15.6 thousand cars were purchased, including 1.5 thousand Moskvich 6s.
