Production program for MC-21, SJ-100, and Tu-214 aircraft to be revised in Russia

Ministry of Industry and Trade clarifies forecasts for aircraft production after strategic session with Mikhail Mishustin

The comprehensive program for the development of the aviation industry in Russia will be updated closer to the end of 2025, according to the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Anton Alikhanov.

The ministry is already clarifying forecasts for production and plans for the purchase of aircraft after a strategic session with the head of government Mikhail Mishustin, the minister noted.

Alikhanov noted earlier that on July 15, the ministry was to present proposals for updating the CPGA at a strategic session of the government.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov also stated that the Russian aviation industry development program may be adjusted.

The current version of the CPGA until 2030 envisages the supply of almost a thousand aircraft for the needs of civil aviation. Of these, 270 units are MC-21-310, 142 units are SSJ New, 113 units are Tu-214, 51 units are Il-114-300, 105 units are TVRS-44 "Ladoga", 12 units are Il-96-300, 158 units are "Osvey" (LMS-192) and 139 units are "Baikal" (LMS-901).

Earlier www1.ru reported that ODK found a way to reduce the weight of the PD-8 aircraft engine for SJ-100 and Be-200 aircraft.
