Specialists of NPO "Kaysant" have developed a new portable anti-aircraft missile system (MANPADS) of short range, designed specifically to counter drones.
The mobile unit is equipped with a special "Hermes" communication, thanks to which the system quickly adapts to changing combat conditions.
The complex received a guidance system based on machine vision. NPO "Kaysant" noted that optimized characteristics and the integration of modern technologies makes the complex the most optimal solution for countering unmanned aerial vehicles.
The relatively small weight of 1.2 kg will be a good help for soldiers of infantry units. Target acquisition range - 500 m, the complex uses VOG-25 as a warhead.
