The Kalashnikov Group, known for its innovative developments in the field of unmanned systems, has received an operator certificate from Rosaviatsiya for performing aviation work using the multifunctional UAV SKAT 350 M. The certificate allows the manufacturer not only to supply equipment to customers, but also to independently provide services in the civil sphere, including monitoring territories, supporting rescue operations, and monitoring infrastructure facilities.
The certificate opens access to compensation for the cost of flight hours and other benefits from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which strengthens the complex's market position. The SKAT 350 M UAV, created on the basis of the deeply modernized Supercam 350 platform, demonstrates high efficiency in various climatic conditions - from arctic to subtropical. The operating temperature range and resistance to wind loads make the drone an ideal tool for working in complex geographical areas.
Key technological features
The SKAT 350 M UAV is a classic flying wing aircraft with a wingspan of 3.2 meters and a maximum take-off weight of 15 kg. The electric motor allows it to reach speeds of up to 120 km/h, and the flight time reaches 4 hours. The communication range of the video channel and radio link varies from 70 to 100 km, which ensures stable data transmission even at a considerable distance.
One of the key innovations is the domestically produced remote identification system, which provides two-way communication between the aircraft and airport control services. This equipment allows transmitting a signal at a distance of more than 40 km from the airfield, which significantly exceeds the capabilities of similar systems. In addition, the device is equipped with a multispectral camera that captures data not available for visual perception, which increases the volume and quality of the information received.
For ease of operation, the complex includes automated functions, such as the operating mode of the air pressure receiver and a new battery controller, which simplifies operator training and increases system reliability. Launching is carried out from an elastic or pneumatic catapult, and landing is carried out by parachute in automatic or semi-automatic mode.
Application prospects
SKAT 350 M is already used in civil aviation, including deliveries to the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK). Its application covers a wide range of industries: from agriculture and forestry to monitoring power lines, the oil and gas industry, and rescue operations. The high efficiency of the drone has been confirmed not only in civil tasks, but also in difficult conditions where reliability and accuracy are required.
Compared to other UAVs in its class, such as Orlan-10 or Supercam 350, SKAT 350 M stands out for its improved aerodynamic characteristics, increased structural strength, and expanded communication capabilities. Its ability to operate in a wide temperature range and resistance to interference make it one of the most adaptable solutions on the market.
