Specialists of "ODK-Salyut" have developed projects to improve the efficiency of aircraft engine production, including the promising Russian power plants PD-8 and PD-14. New solutions for optimizing processes, improving inter-departmental interaction, and developing lean manufacturing were presented by participants of the annual professional skills competition "Kuznitsa Idey" (Forge of Ideas).

Within the framework of the competition, six teams of specialists analyzed various areas of the enterprise's work and prepared proposals that should help increase production efficiency. The main attention was paid to improving cooperation between departments, developing lean manufacturing tools, and accelerating information exchange.

One of the most significant projects was a new system for submitting proposals to improve production processes. The developers proposed simplifying the processing of employee initiatives to make the mechanism more accessible to specialists from all departments. The best ideas are planned to be implemented in the enterprise's work.

Another direction is related to improving visual production management. Participants proposed unifying the color coding of information in work areas and expanding the ways of its dissemination through integration with electronic document management.

Following the competition, the most promising solutions were transferred to the relevant departments of "ODK-Salyut" for further development and possible implementation. As Alexey Gromov, the managing director of the enterprise, noted, the development of internal initiatives helps to form teams of specialists capable of finding solutions for complex production tasks, and the economic effect from employees' proposals already reaches tens of millions of rubles.
