Footage of the onboard system of the new import-substituted Russian airliner MC-21-310 has appeared online. Military pilot Alexey Voevoda noted that the information signs were not translated into Russian.
In the photos, it can be seen that data on the glide path, location, engine operation system, gyroscopes, and other indicators are presented only in English.
Brand new MC-21. Beautiful. One question, why is everything in English again?
In September, specialists from PJSC Yakovlev (part of the United Aircraft Corporation of the Rostec State Corporation) conducted safety tests on the removal of drainable flammable liquids on the MC-21-310 aircraft with domestically produced systems. Serial production of the airliners should start in 2026.
Also, the day before, Minsk Aircraft Repair Plant No. 407 and Ulyanovsk enterprise Aviastar signed an agreement on cooperation in terms of components for the new MC-21-310.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that 54.47 billion rubles were found for scientific work for the aviation industry.
