Moscow-based company "Prompribor-R" has developed a new Arctic gas analyzer. It is operational in the temperature range from minus 60 to plus 60 degrees Celsius.
According to the press service of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, the sensor is securely mounted in areas with deep snow cover and is stably fixed, even in strong winds. Data from it is transmitted to the user at a distance of up to several hundred meters without loss of signal quality. The analyzer can be configured via a remote control without opening the sensor.
The equipment has already passed trial tests and is ready for certification and mass production. It is scheduled for the second quarter of 2024. Currently, the production capacity of "Prompribor-R" allows to produce up to 4.5 thousand gas analyzers in Arctic design annually.
Earlier it became known that the world's most frost-resistant hydrogen engine has been developed in Russia. It will be able to become the "heart" for cars and drones, and even a substation for heating homes. Mass production of engines will begin in the second half of this year, as well as Arctic gas analyzers.
