The X-Sky copter-type drone made its first flight in Sakhalin. This was the first officially registered launch of a personal air mobility vehicle in Russia, said Valery Limarenko, Governor of Sakhalin Oblast.

The aircraft can be used in both unmanned and manned modes.
The drone is equipped with satellite navigation and can move autonomously along a given route.
X-Sky drone specifications:
- Charging – from an electric battery
- Flight time – up to 20 min.
- Speed – 50 km/h
The test flight took place on the territory of the "Pushisty" droneport in Korsakovsky District. Limarenko called the drone a "prototype air taxi." He expressed hope that these technologies could be scaled across Russia in the future.
