Russian Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov announced that changes related to modern technologies have been introduced into the school curriculum. Artificial intelligence topics have been added to the computer science course, and students will study the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in technology classes.

The press service of the Ministry of Education clarified that UAV topics are also included in the subject "Fundamentals of Safety and Homeland Defense." In addition, they are given attention in the system of additional education.

Kravtsov emphasized that the creation and use of drones is a promising direction, and a significant role in its promotion belongs to teachers. Educators of various profiles – mathematics, computer science, technology, and "Fundamentals of Safety and Homeland Defense" – are capable of inspiring students by their own example.

It should be recalled that earlier, the Ministry of Education reported that unified state history textbooks for grades 5-9 would be ready by the new academic year. The department also noted that unified federal educational programs, standardizing the content of education, have already been introduced in schools.
