The Russian aircraft industry is unlikely to be able to build the number of aircraft specified in the Comprehensive Program for the Development of Civil Aviation (KPGА) until 2030. This was stated by Vadim Lukashevich, a former designer at the Sukhoi Design Bureau.
He recalled that in the federal budget for 2026, as well as for the planned period of 2027–2028, spending on the development of civil aviation was reduced by almost 40%.
This is no accident. Although we still need to figure out: was the production of 142 Superjets by 2030 already indicated taking into account the funding cuts or not?
The specialist also does not believe in plans to produce 51 Il-114-300 aircraft and 270 MC-21-310 aircraft by the specified date.
For example, the Il-114-300 should have already been certified, but this has not happened. Even if we do this, including for the MC-21 type, we are unlikely to reach the required production rates, because at best it is one aircraft per week. Even at the plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, they do not produce five to six aircraft per month, there are approximately two to three.
Lukashevich stated that in order to reach such rates, it is necessary to solve many more issues, including the production of PD-8 and PD-14 engines.
On what equipment were they made? Also on domestic ones? I mean, our machine tool industry is going through hard times, especially now. The production of important parts depends on this industry, including for aviation. For example, ball bearings, which are used in engines.
As a reminder, the current version of the KPGА until 2030 involves the supply of almost a thousand aircraft for the needs of civil aviation. Of these, 270 units are MC-21-310, 142 units are SSJ New, 113 units are Tu-214, 51 units are Il-114-300, 105 units are TVRS-44 Ladoga, 12 units are Il-96-300, 158 units are Osvey (LMS-192) and 139 units are Baikal (LMS-901).
Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov stated that the KPGА until 2030 will still receive state support from the National Welfare Fund or the state budget.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Il-96 aircraft for top officials will remain relevant with new PD-35 engines.
