As part of the preparation for sea trials of the multifunctional rescue vessel of the MPSV06 "Kerch Strait" project, the shipbuilders of the Amur Shipbuilding Plant of the USC conducted mooring tests and put into operation the bow thrusters of the vessel.
Together with specialists from contracting organizations, the Amur shipbuilders checked the operability of the thruster control system, both from local control posts and from the central one.
The service systems were also checked and remote control was set up from the navigation bridge.
The multifunctional emergency rescue vessel of ice class with a capacity of 7 MW of the MPSV06 "Kerch Strait" project is being built by order of the FGU "Directorate of the State заказчика".
Technical characteristics of the vessel:
- length — 86 meters;
- width — 19 meters;
- power — 7 MW;
- speed – 15 knots;
- cargo hold capacity — 800 m3;
- container capacity — 12 FEU;
- deadweight at draft along the summer load line — 1360 tons;
- max. continuous GDP power — not less than 2 x 3500 kW.
