Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ), in collaboration with the People's Front, has modernized the UAZ "Hunter" for military operations, the company's press service reported.
The vehicle is designed for transporting lightly and seriously wounded individuals. It is based on the serial UAZ "Hunter" and equipped with a winch.
The car's engine has been adapted to run on low-quality fuel. Wheels with special inserts allow continued movement with punctured tires.
The design of the modernized version of the car has been completely changed.
There is an option to modernize the top of the car — it can be used with both a closed tent and an open one. There are spaces for installing electronic warfare equipment and the ability to engage in combat while moving.
The first prototype of the car was made in the shortest possible time. Subsequent vehicles are planned to be created taking into account the new wishes of the military.
