Max users have the opportunity to create private channels. The new feature is available to users from Russia and Belarus.
In such channels, you can post photos, videos, notes, as well as record video calls and voice messages. It is possible to configure reactions to publications and manage requests to join.
To create a private channel in Max, you need to update the application to the latest version. Then go to the "Chats" section, click on the "+" button at the top of the screen, select the option "Create a private channel", set the main photo, come up with a name and description, and, if desired, add subscribers from the list of contacts in Max and click the "Create channel" button.
The author of a private channel can invite new members via a special link — users who follow it will be able to join the channel. The invitation link can be updated, in which case the old link will no longer be valid, and joining will only be possible via the new one.
The ability to approve applications to join the channel via a link is also available — to do this, select the "Application to join" option in the channel settings. Users will be able to subscribe to the channel only after the administrator approves their application.
