In the flight test division of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant (part of PJSC "Yakovlev"), testing of the second import-substituted MC-21-310 aircraft has begun, the press service of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) reported.
Specialists from the flight test and development complex of PJSC "Yakovlev" will have to check the fuel system, start and test the main engines and auxiliary power unit, as well as test the aircraft's equipment and systems with the engines running.
In the final assembly shop, imported components and systems were replaced with domestic ones on the aircraft. These included replacing the controls in the cockpit, control system actuators, the wing mechanization movement system and the stabilizer adjustment mechanism, the avionics complex, and the integrated air conditioning system.
The aircraft also had the integrated system for collecting, monitoring, processing and recording flight information, the wheel braking system, the main and auxiliary power units, the fuel system, wheels, tires and other components replaced.
