Без неба не останемся: Boeing и Airbus наладили поставки авиазапчастей в Россию

Necessary parts arrive through third countries

Boeing and Airbus continued to supply aircraft parts for airplanes in Russia, but through third countries. Thanks to end-user certificates, the companies know exactly who certain parts are being sent to.

A source in the aviation industry noted that after the introduction of sanctions in 2022, domestic carriers were effectively "in shock".

They purchased a wide range of spare parts from the manufacturer — from seats in the cabin to chips, filters, avionics, consumables, and fuselage parts.

But it very quickly turned out that Boeing and Airbus themselves were in no less shock. A letter came from them to our leadership — they said, like, sanctions, we can no longer support deliveries in this regard, we regret it. And at the end there was a postscript: "And what are we going to do?". Do you understand?

According to him, deliveries were eventually налаладили through third countries, and the companies themselves knew perfectly well thanks to end-user certificates that a particular part was being supplied to Russia.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the millionth titanium ingot for the construction of the MC-21 and SJ-100 was smelted in Russia.
