Банки предложили обязать мессенджеры прерывать звонки и переписку при подозрении на мошенничество

Social networks and other services should use AI-based anti-fraud protection systems

Russian banks have proposed obliging messengers, social networks, and email services to block suspicious calls and messages. To do this, they proposed using anti-fraud systems, including those based on artificial intelligence. If the system detects fraud during a conversation or correspondence, it will interrupt the communication.

This follows from the draft amendments to the second package of measures to combat cyber fraud. It was submitted to the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market by the National Financial Market Council. It includes VTB, Sovcombank, Rosselkhozbank, Alfa-Bank and other financial organizations.

The State Duma Committee addressed proposals to the Ministry of Digital Development, the Prosecutor General's Office, the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other departments, RBC market participants reported.

NSFR also proposed that organizers of information dissemination on the Internet should by default block calls from unknown numbers, unless the user has given permission for this.

Earlier, Alla Khrapunova, an expert in the "People's Front. Analytics" direction, warned that it is dangerous to talk to scammers. Even if you realize that you are being deceived, immediately stop the dialogue. This will prevent attackers from using your voice and manner of speaking in other scams.
