VK has introduced a new feature in the Mail Cloud service. Users will be able to easily find and delete duplicate uploaded photos thanks to an intelligent search based on artificial intelligence. The feature is not available to everyone, only to Mail Space subscribers with storage from 256 GB.
After uploading photos to the cloud, the neural network automatically analyzes all images, identifying duplicates. They are displayed in a special "Albums" tab in the "Duplicates" section. Users will see the best image from each series, marked with an asterisk, making it easy to choose the highest quality shot. The remaining copies can be deleted with just one click.
Every two weeks, the AI will conduct a new analysis of uploaded photos, collecting duplicates into a separate collection. This way, users can maintain order in their cloud storage and free up space for new memories.
As a reminder, the unified Mail Space subscription was launched in May 2023, combining the functions of Mail and Cloud. Since April 2025, subscribers of tariffs from 256 GB have been able to unlimited auto-upload photos and videos from mobile devices without spending the main storage space.
