A working Soviet payphone Amt 69 has appeared for sale in Moscow. The unique device comes with a passport, 50 two-kopeck coins, a piggy bank with a set of keys, and a GSM module.
This vintage phone, with the help of modern technology, has been carefully preserved in its original form, without any changes to the design, and is equipped with an external device that allows you to use it in the modern world while maintaining all its functions of swallowing coins when the subscriber answers on the other end of the line (any modern means of communication).
The weight of the device is 10 kg. On the rear wall of the payphone, there are four holes for attaching the payphone to the wall. The handset cord is placed in a flexible metal hose made of steel wire (metal conduit).
The Amt 69 payphone model was developed in 1969. Mass production of the devices started at the Perm Telephone Plant in 1974.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a unique Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with an hourglass was presented in Russia.
