The TV7-117V turboshaft aircraft engine developed by UEC-Klimov is designed for Mi-38 helicopters. The power plant is mass-produced and has the lowest fuel consumption in its class, as well as high reliability and failure-free performance.
For example, in 2024, new Mi-38 helicopters with TV7-117V engines successfully flew 6.5 thousand kilometers from Kazan to Magadan, surviving extreme -40 degrees. The engine power in emergency mode is 3,750 hp. The engine power in take-off mode is 2,800 hp.
Also, engines of the TV7-117 family are used in the new Il-114-300 aircraft. The TV7-117ST-01 version is equipped with a modernized engine and propeller control system (SAU-65ST-01), which includes a BARK-65SM-01 control unit and an electronic control unit.
UEC-Klimov specialists produce engines only from Russian parts, assemblies and components. At the same time, UEC enterprises in Ufa, Moscow, and Omsk participate in the common cause.
Earlier www1.ru reported that UAC revealed the purpose of the fairings of the flap rails on aircraft.
