The machine-building division enterprise of Rosatom has received accreditation from Rosaviatsiya for testing for the domestic aircraft industry. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.
Rosaviatsiya recognized NPO "CNIITMASH" as a technically competent testing laboratory that will conduct testing and control of metallic materials for civil aviation facilities.
The issued accreditation allows the state corporation's divisions to carry out work in such areas as determining chemical composition, corrosion tests, metallographic research, and determining mechanical properties.
Rosatom's enterprises are currently actively involved in the development of the domestic aircraft industry. The products of the state corporation's enterprises are used in domestic aviation - carbon fiber is used to manufacture elements of the tail and wings of the MS-21.
