A significant advantage of the new Russian medium-range airliner MC-21 is the high level of comfort for passengers. This was reported by the press service of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec).
For the first time in this class, the aircraft has reached a level available only to passengers of wide-body aircraft. Also, the MC-21 surpasses competitors in a number of technical solutions.
The corporation added that about 15 thousand enterprises of different levels participate in the production cooperation for the MC-21 serial production program (120 first-level suppliers, 4000 second-level suppliers, more than 10,000 third-level suppliers).
In total, about 50 thousand employees are working on the project.
