The landing gear partially broke on an An-2 "Kukuruznik" aircraft during landing at Arkhangelsk Vaskovo Airport. Rosaviatsiya considers the emergency a serious aviation incident, said Artem Korenyako, a representative of the agency.
There were 12 passengers and 2 crew members on board. According to preliminary data, no one was injured, but the aircraft suffered damage to the shock absorber unit.
The agency's specialists classified the incident as a serious aviation incident. Its investigation, as well as the establishment of the causes of the incident, is being handled by the Arkhangelsk Interregional Territorial Administration of Rosaviatsiya.
These are not the first problems with the An-2 recently. In October, two pilotsdied in a plane crash in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In December 2024, another"Kukuruznik" crashed in Kamchatka, three people on board survived.
