Photos of two new models from the Russian premium brand Aurus have been published online: the Senat sedan and a minibus developed on the basis of the Unified Modular Platform (EMP).
The presence of a fuel filler flap on the wing suggests that the sedan is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system. Although the Senat previously had a hybrid system, the new modification probably received a battery with increased capacity and the possibility of external charging. This will allow the car to travel some distance exclusively on electric power.
As for the minibus, only its rear part is visible, which demonstrates elements similar to the design of the rear of the Senat.
It is possible that it is planned to manufacture bodies using a simplified technology, with a tubular supporting frame and widespread use of composites for the visible panels
It is assumed that the minibus will be intended for use as official transport for state needs, as well as for servicing delegations and VIPs. It is possible that it will be available in several versions, differing in the level of comfort and equipment.
