Photos of two new models from the Russian premium brand Aurus have been published online: the Senat sedan and a minibus developed on the basis of the Unified Modular Platform (EMP).
The presence of a hatch on the wing suggests that the sedan is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system. Although the Senat previously had a hybrid setup, the new modification likely received a larger capacity battery with external charging capability. This will allow the car to travel some distance purely on electric power.
As for the minibus, only its rear is visible, which shows elements similar to the design of the rear of the Senat.
It is possible that the bodies are to be manufactured using a simplified technology, with a tubular supporting frame and widespread use of composites for the visible panels
It is assumed that the minibus will be intended for use as official transport for state needs, as well as for servicing delegations and VIPs. It is quite possible that it will be available in several versions, differing in the level of comfort and equipment.
