The Russian fifth-generation multirole fighter Su-57 is the only one in the world capable of withstanding modern air defense systems (ADS). This was stated by the head of the Rostec State Corporation, Sergei Chemezov.
The Su-57 fighter is currently the only one in the world to have confirmed its ability to operate in conditions of counteraction from modern air defense systems, including the American Patriot anti-aircraft missile system.
The Su-57 is the only fifth-generation aircraft equipped with a supersonic, low-observable adjustable air intake, which provides the world's best range, maneuverability, and flight duration characteristics. Its first flight took place on January 29, 2010.
French aviation expert Cyril de Lattre noted that the US-built F-16 fighters would lose to the Russian Su-57s in air combat.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the environmental friendliness of Russian aircraft engines has been increased by almost 25% in a clever way.
