Какое будущее ждёт Ил-114-300: подходы и планы на предстоящую эксплуатацию

Turboprop aircraft will replace the outdated An-24

The development of new projects in regional aviation is one of the main tasks for the entire transport industry in Russia in the coming years. This segment of the domestic aviation industry is in dire need of fleet renewal more than others; the fleet of aircraft is still based on Soviet aircraft of various types.

Currently, several projects are being created in this direction, which are aimed at fleet renewal. One of them is the Il-114-300 turboprop aircraft with a capacity of up to 68 people, which will replace the outdated An-24 on airlines within Russia, as well as foreign aircraft of a similar class.

The Il-114-300 program is currently in the certification testing phase. By 2030, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) plans to supply 51 aircraft of this type, including three of them in 2026, as indicated in the Comprehensive Program for the Development of the Aviation Industry in Russia.

First Orders Placed

The first customer of the Il-114-300 was the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK). The contract for the supply of three aircraft was concluded at the MAKS air show back in 2021. Preliminarily, the starting operator of the new regional aircraft will be Red Wings.

The modernized version of the Il-114-300 is assembled from domestically produced components and equipped with new systems and equipment. The maximum flight altitude is 7.6 thousand meters.

On July 8, the aircraft was officially presented to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin during his visit to the Innoprom exhibition.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Ilyushin announced the official characteristics of the serial Il-114-300.
