The Russian electric sedan "AmberAuto A5" has noticeably increased in price: its cost has increased by 425–450 thousand rubles, depending on the configuration. The increase was 14.5–16.7% and became one of the most significant for the entire existence of the model.
The initial Comfort version now costs 3 150 000 rubles, and the top configuration Business will cost 3 350 000 rubles. The price of the Comfort version increased the most, adding 450 thousand rubles, while the Business version became more expensive by 425 thousand rubles.
The model is equipped with a synchronous electric motor with a capacity of 160 hp and a battery with a capacity of 60.2 kWh, which allows you to drive up to 520 km in the CLTC cycle. A full charge takes about 40 minutes.
In size, the A5 is comparable to the Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Corolla. It received a fully independent suspension and rich basic equipment. It includes LED optics, 17-inch wheels, climate control, digital panels and a 12.7-inch multimedia system, as well as a full winter package. The Business configuration includes 18-inch wheels, massage seats and a surround view system.
In November, the "AmberAuto A5" electric sedan set a new sales record, becoming the best-selling electric car in Russia. In the last month of autumn, Russians purchased 404 copies of this car, which allowed the Kaliningrad brand to bypass both Evolute and Zeekr.
