The regional branch of Tagras-TransService Company – Bugulminsk Department of Technological Transport – conducted a test run of the KAMAZ-54902 (ADR) truck tractor and highly appreciated its technical capabilities and driving performance.
The test vehicle, equipped for the transport of dangerous goods in accordance with the ADR agreement and equipped with a power take-off, was provided to the client by the Trade and Finance Company KAMAZ. The truck tractor traveled 9935 km in a month, transporting general cargo throughout Tatarstan using an onboard semi-trailer.
Following the test results, the carrier noted the superiority of the KAMAZ-54902 compared to previous generations of truck tractors, as well as the high handling and comfort of the vehicle.
The KAMAZ-54902 (4x2) is designed for regional transportation over relatively short distances and was launched on the market in 2024. It belongs to the latest K5 generation and features a spacious 2.3 m wide cab with a low roof and one sleeping berth.
The vehicle is built on a sanction-resistant component base and is equipped with a KAMAZ-689 engine with a capacity of 390 hp, a 12-speed automated manual transmission with a retarder, and an economical hypoid drive axle with an optimally selected gear ratio.
