The developer of auxiliary fleet vessels in modular execution, Vidson, will create its own production facility on the territory of the Kulibin special economic zone (SEZ) in the city of Dzerzhinsk. This was reported in the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
Vidson has already created a legal entity. A workshop that meets the requirements of the technological process was selected at the production site in Dzerzhinsk.
In 2025, Vidson, under the technical supervision of RS, manufactured working design documentation for the WIDSON-50 modular self-lifting platform. The marine facility was built at a shipyard in China.
According to the tests, the platform confirmed full compliance with reliability and safety standards. Now Vidson will participate in the construction of hydraulic structures of the El-Dabaa nuclear power plant in Egypt.
