The developer of auxiliary fleet vessels in modular design, Vidson, will create its own production facility on the territory of the Kulibin special economic zone (SEZ) in the city of Dzerzhinsk. This was reported by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
Vidson has already created a legal entity. A workshop that meets the requirements of the technological process has been selected at the production site in Dzerzhinsk.
In 2025, under the technical supervision of the Russian Register, Vidson manufactured working design documentation for the WIDSON-50 modular self-lifting platform. The marine facility was built at a shipyard in China.
According to the test results, the platform confirmed full compliance with reliability and safety standards. Now Vidson will participate in the construction of hydraulic structures for the El-Dabaa nuclear power plant in Egypt.
