Specialists of the United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of Rostec State Corporation) presented reports on projects aimed at developing and implementing innovative solutions in aircraft engine construction. This was reported by the UEC press service.
The engineers presented reports in three thematic sections on key aspects of the industry: thermodynamics and gas dynamics, modern technologies and materials, combustion processes, heat transfer and automatic control systems.
Each direction is directly related to the tasks of creating new generation engines - economical, reliable and suitable for operation in a wide range of conditions.
Following the review, the jury selected the six most promising works.
The winners were: Andrey Krivobok and Daria Popova (UEC-Klimov), Dmitry Volkind (Sarov Engineering Center), Timur Fozilov and Sergey Kotsyubinsky (UEC branch "NIID"), Pavel Polshkov (UEC-Salut).
