An advanced development by the United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of the Rostec State Corporation) will improve the stealth performance of the engines of the latest combat fighters. This was reported in the company's press service.
UEC specialists took first place at the "New Time" invention salon. They presented an improved output device for a dual-circuit turbojet engine used in advanced military aircraft.
The invention is aimed at reducing the level of infrared radiation from the engine into the rear hemisphere of the aircraft.
The corporation also presented a new method for cooling the working blades of the engine turbine and a device for its implementation. The development optimizes the operation of the unit, provides a high level of efficiency and the effectiveness of its thermodynamic cycle.
Dual-circuit turbojet engines are used on Russian fighters such as the Yak-130 (AI-222-25 engine) and promising models, for example, the Su-57 and Su-75, where supersonic speed is achieved without afterburner.
The UAC explained that V-shaped tail assembly on the Su-57 and Su-75 directly affects the aerodynamic characteristics of the aircraft. Prior to this, footage of the first Su-75 prototype built in Russia appeared on the Web.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russian Buk-M2E anti-aircraft missile systems were deployed in Venezuela.
