Prototype of "Valdai-45 LNG" tractor with LNG engine demonstrated at the forum in St. Petersburg

The car will receive a Russian YaMZ-770 engine with a working volume of 12.42 liters and a power of up to 620 hp

At the LNG forum held in St. Petersburg, a prototype of the "Valdai-45 LNG" tractor equipped with a liquefied natural gas (LNG) engine was presented.

"Valdai 45" is a Russian main tractor unit produced by "Nizhny Novgorod Trucks" under the brand "Valdai" since 2023.

The car debuted in the fall of 2023 at the Comtrans-2023 exhibition. It is a localized version of the Foton Auman EST1846 car.

The car's equipment includes cabin insulation and a winter package, as the car is adapted for operation in cold climates. There is also a refrigerator, an electric sunroof, climate control and ESP.

Since 2025, the car is planned to be equipped with Russian YaMZ-770 engines with a working volume of 12.42 liters and a power of up to 620 horsepower (depending on the modification).

Sales of this version are scheduled to begin in 2026.
