The post of General Director of the premium car brand was taken by Andrey Boginsky, who previously headed the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec). The publication "Business Online" gave a description of Boginsky's work at the head of the domestic aircraft industry.
Journalists noted that the dismissal of Boginsky was demanded by the head of the Russian government Mikhail Mishustin "for the complete failure in the civil aircraft industry"
Andrey Ivanovich headed Yakovlev and the entire civil segment of the UAC for three years. However, it should be remembered that before that he had no relation to aircraft construction, but somehow ended up in the chair of the head of the civil aircraft industry.
The editor-in-chief of the magazine "Behind the Wheel" Maxim Kadakov stated that Boginsky did not bring anything "breakthrough" to PJSC "Yakovlev". In his opinion, Boginsky's work can be called a "factual failure".
He was fired, as far as I remember, on the instructions of Prime Minister Mishustin for the failure of the civil aviation program.
