The comprehensive program for the development of the aviation industry in Russia until 2030, which has been adopted, will be almost impossible to implement; there is no necessary production in the country. This was stated by Honored Pilot of the USSR, Chairman of the Commission on Civil Aviation of the Public Council of Rostransnadzor, Oleg Smirnov.
The expert reminded that two thousand engines need to be created for a thousand aircraft, and at the moment there is not a single mass production of them in Russia. Millions of components are also needed - electronic, plastic, electrical and metal.
And where to get them? It is necessary to restore the enterprises where they will be produced. And therefore, the program is regularly revised, the number of aircraft has decreased, and the deadlines are constantly shifting.
Smirnov recalled that there is still no replacement even for the 70-year-old An-2, which used to connect every village with the "mainland".
They decided to make "Baikal" - billions were allocated, and now the Presidential Envoy to the Far East, Yuri Trutnev, states that this aircraft is not suitable, its creation has been suspended. He doesn't just raise this problem, but because he meets with people who live there.
Russia plans to produce more than a thousand of its own aircraft by 2030, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a direct line and press conference in December 2023.
Later, the Ministry of Industry and Trade clarified that the share of Russian-made aircraft in the fleets of airlines by 2030 will be 81.3% - there will be SSJ-100, Tu-214, MC-2, Il-9 mainline aircraft, as well as Il-114-300, An-24, An-26, Baikal and Ladoga regional aircraft.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the import-substituted MC-21 aircraft successfully tested radio-electronic equipment.
