Specialists determine the characteristics of the aircraft by calculation and experimental methods, monitor the compliance of the characteristics of the standard aircraft design, determine the stability and controllability of the aircraft, including during flight tests, and develop mathematical models of the aircraft's dynamics.
They develop algorithms for automating control systems, simulate the dynamics of the aircraft's movement in a closed loop on flight simulators and semi-natural modeling stands together with test pilots.
In addition, the aerodynamics research department calculates how the aircraft will behave during takeoff and landing, and prepares all the necessary documents in accordance with the requirements of the aviation authorities.
They update flight documentation to ensure the efficient and safe operation of aircraft. They develop the necessary software for calculations and management of electronic flight documentation
