The state corporation recalled that it is foolish to compare the cost of the first samples, which is always higher, with machines produced in large quantities for a long time.
With the increase in the series, the price will decrease and significantly so - this is the task. Similarly, the flight performance will be brought to the target parameters, as was the case with foreign analogues in their time.
Rostec added that forecasts for the cost of aircraft were announced a long time ago, without taking into account changes in the current economic situation, investment costs in creating import-substituted versions, and the Central Bank rate.

Earlier it became known that the projected price of the MC-21 aircraft will be 7.606 billion rubles. Moreover, in the summer of 2023, the State Transport Leasing Company estimated it at around 4.6 billion rubles, excluding subsidies from the National Welfare Fund.
