KMZ specialists designed a unified tooling that optimizes foundry production

The equipment can produce castings for anchor spindles weighing from 50 to 5000 kg

Specialists from the Design Bureau-3 of the military-industrial holding "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" have created a unified foundry tooling that will simplify the process of manufacturing anchor spindles. The created equipment allows producing castings of anchor spindles weighing from 50 to 5000 kilograms.

The anchor spindle is a massive rod to the lower part of which the anchor paws are attached.

Thanks to the appearance of a new unified tooling, the production of spindles for various types of anchors will be simplified. Also the manufacturing time will be reduced. According to experts from Design Bureau-3, the use of new equipment will increase work efficiency by three times.
