Российский «Маяк» начал выпускать безмасляные компрессоры для автомобильных газостанций

Compressor units that compress methane without the use of oil allow achieving gas purity without additional mechanisms for its purification after compression

The Kirov Mayak plant (part of the Kalashnikov concern) has begun actively producing oil-free compressor units from Russian components for equipping automobile gas filling stations (AGNK). The result is high-quality, environmentally friendly gas motor fuel, which, according to the manufacturer, increases the power and service life of a car engine.

The first AGNK with new domestic equipment has already been opened in Syktyvkar.

The equipment for AGNK, which Mayak supplies and manufactures, consists of:

  • inlet metering group, filter, regulator;
  • gas drying unit on the low side;
  • compressor station;
  • gas accumulator unit and priority panel;
  • distribution column;
  • operator's room.

The heart of such compressor stations are 3, 4 or 5-stage opposed compressor units that compress gas without the use of oil in the compression chamber, which allows achieving exceptional gas purity at the outlet and eliminating the need for additional equipment to clean the gas from oil inclusions after compression. A patented design is used in the units to ensure oil-free compression.

PJSC "Kirov Plant "Mayak" joined the Kalashnikov concern with the permission of the FAS quite recently, less than a year ago. Prior to that, the plant had been producing military equipment for the Russian army for many years, mastered military products for civilian purposes and civilian products. "Mayak" works in many areas: stamping, casting, mechanical engineering, construction, heat treatment of metals and alloys, creation of coatings, and so on.
