The line of Russian Baikal microcontrollers has been expanded with three new models: BE-U1100, BE-U1200, and BE-U1300. In late July 2026, the devices appeared in the catalog of the State Information System of Industry. Simultaneously, a package-free version was introduced for the serial BE-U1000.

The new chips are based on the BE-U1000 and feature two Russian CloudBear RISC-V architecture cores with frequencies of 200 and 100 MHz. All three models are equipped with 32 KB of RAM, two CAN FD interfaces, and are produced in a compact QFN-48 package measuring 6 × 6 mm.

The main differences lie in the set of connections. The BE-U1100 received 28 universal GPIO pins and a QSPI interface, which is not present in the other two models. The BE-U1200 and BE-U1300 each have 22 GPIOs, with the older version having more UART, I2C interfaces, and two I2S channels.

The microcontrollers can be used in industrial automation, engineering infrastructure, electric motor control systems, automobiles, and Internet of Things devices. Expanding the product line allows for selecting a chip for a specific task without overpaying for unnecessary interfaces.
