Rosatom Technical Academy (TAR) will train 50 instructors from Hungary as part of the EPC contract (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) for the construction of the Paks-2 NPP. This was announced by the Academy's rector, Yuri Seleznev.
According to Seleznev, the first group has already completed training, and the specialists have been issued relevant certificates.
Subsequently, under our supervision, Hungarian instructors must train 385 key personnel at the training center in Paks.
Atomstroyexport (part of Rosatom's Engineering Division) began construction of a training center at the Paks-2 site in June 2026. It will be equipped with the necessary equipment under the supervision of TAR.
The Academy cooperates with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). It has 4 branches: in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Obninsk, and Novovoronezh. TAR employs over 400 teachers. Currently, over 300 people are undergoing training there.
The educational institution trains personnel for NPPs being built using Russian technologies. In early 2027, the academy will host specialists from Uzbekistan.
