The St. Petersburg-based company "ODK-Klimov" has reduced the amount of claims against the Kazan Helicopter Plant (KVZ) to 178 million rubles. A hearing of the Arbitration Court of Tatarstan took place on Wednesday, according to the local publication "Realnoe Vremya." Both enterprises are part of the state corporation "Rostec."
Initially, "Klimov" filed seven lawsuits against KVZ for a total amount of about 881 million rubles. The subject of the dispute was the debt for the supply of helicopter engines model ТВ3-117ВМ.
At the court hearing, a significant change in the terms of the dispute became known. As a result of the proceedings, the court found that KVZ had repaid the main part of the debt.
Now, the Kazan plant only has obligations to pay a penalty of 178 million rubles.
The court documents stated that ТВ3-117ВМ engines were supplied in 2022–2024 for helicopters of the Ми-8 family. KVZ did not pay for part of the deliveries on time.
