Plans to build a thousand aircraft by 2030 under the Comprehensive Program for the Development of Civil Aviation (CRPA) are hampered by the slow pace of component production, according to Honored Pilot of Russia Yuri Sytnik.
According to him, about 150 factories for the production of parts have been destroyed in the country, which cannot be "restored with a snap of the fingers."
Sooner or later, officials will realize that there is nothing else - the МС-21 will only be completed in 5-8 years, and during this time, imported aircraft will be standing by the fence... Aviation construction chiefs make promises: "1 thousand aircraft by 2030." We produce 40 engines a year - what thousand aircraft!
Andrey Patrakov, founder of the flight safety and certification service RunAvia, stated to"Perviy Technicheskiy" that the plans enshrined in the CRPA areimpossible to implement.
He explained that the situation is logical - over the past 20 years, supply chains in Russia have been destroyed, the volume of domestic component production has been critically reduced, and domestic competencies have been lost.
At the same time, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov recently noted thatthe CRPA will still be revised, but only after the certification of the SJ-100, МС-21-300, and Ил-114-300.
