Designers at the Ural Works of Civil Aviation (UZGA) have incorporated a technical foundation into the UТС-800 training aircraft for future upgrades, including the possibility of flights at higher altitudes. This was reported by an official representative of the company.
In its current configuration, the UТС-800 is certified for operation up to 6,000 m, but its design allows for further development. In particular, the aircraft can be equipped with a pressurized cabin if necessary — the basic project already includes solutions for cabin pressurization and corresponding devices in the onboard systems. They ensure reliable insulation of communications at any pressure level inside the cockpit.
Thanks to a relatively simple modification, the UТС-800 will be able to perform not only basic training tasks, but also special missions at increased altitudes — without compromising the safety and comfort of the crew. This expands the prospects for using the aircraft in both civil and specialized aviation.
