Sales of the new low-floor bus Citymax 8 have started in Russia

The model from STT is designed for urban routes and is equipped with air suspension and a Euro-5 engine

The Russian company (Modern Transport Technologies, STT) has announced the start of sales of the compact low-floor bus Citymax 8, designed for urban routes with medium traffic. The new product is built on a cabover platform, which simplifies maintenance and reduces downtime during repairs.

The cabin has a completely low floor without steps, a two-wing door and a spacious area for wheelchairs or strollers. Of the 32 total seats, 22 are for seating. The enlarged platform in the front speeds up boarding and disembarking of passengers, making the bus convenient for short stops and dense urban traffic.

Citymax 8 is adapted for operation in cold climates. The Euro-5 G51D engine is equipped with a heating system, and the cabin has a reinforced heating system. The pneumatic suspension allows the bus to "squat" at stops for the convenience of passengers boarding.

Safety is ensured by a reinforced body frame, disc brakes, ABS and ASR systems, as well as composite panels that are resistant to corrosion. Options available on request include air conditioning, CCTV cameras, USB charging and passenger counting systems.

Pavlovsky Bus Plant (PAZ) positions Citymax 8 as a modern replacement for outdated small-class buses. The model is designed for municipal and private carriers seeking to upgrade their vehicle fleet and improve passenger comfort.
