Specialists of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant (IAZ, part of the United Aircraft Corporation) have implemented new domestic equipment for the local area network (LAN) at the enterprise. We are talking about switches, the plant's press service specified.
A switch is a network device designed to connect multiple nodes within a local area network. This network is used for the entire IAZ to ensure the operation of the back office and its infrastructure — servers, disk storage, machine tool control, and security system.
Following the testing, the products of a Russian enterprise were selected to replace the LAN equipment of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, which has clear documentation, a wide range, and its own software.
As a reminder, Su-30SM2 fighters, MC-21 passenger aircraft, and Yak-130 light attack aircraft are being built at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. Aircraft production at the plant is considered exemplary.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a Rostec commission with Serdyukov and UAC visited the production of the PD-8 engine.
