The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the Rostec Group) has increased aircraft production by 50% in two years, and total production volume is growing by 15–20% annually. This was announced by Dmitry Bloshchinsky, Deputy General Director of the company.
According to him, the company is fully fulfilling its obligations under the state defense order and is actively preparing for the mass production of civilian airliners.
If we look at the statistics of manufactured products, in 2024 we produced 50% more aircraft than in 2022. It is clear that this indicator is unevenly distributed across programs and factories.
Bloshchinsky added that in two other civilian programs — Tu-214 and Il-96, active work is underway to improve the characteristics of these aircraft. They already have airworthiness certificates.
Here our main task is to increase the volume of their mass production, which is what we are doing.
Three key programs — MC-21, Superjet 100 and Il-114-300, are currently in the final stage of certification. In parallel, UAC is creating new capacities that will help to sharply increase production as soon as the aircraft receive approval for operation, Bloshchinsky concluded.
Earlier www1.ru reported that ODK eliminated a dangerous defect in aircraft engines: the problem of compressor surge has been solved.
