Один из крупнейших проектов Индии и России: концепт купе первого класса для поездов Vande Bharat представили в Нью-Дели

The coupe was developed with an emphasis on comfort during long trips

A full-scale model of a first-class sleeping coupe for Indian Vande Bharat electric trains was presented in New Delhi. This was reported by the press service of Transmashholding.

The design concept is a joint development of the Russian Transmashholding and the Indian company RVNL — Kinet Railway Solutions Limited. This is one of the largest partnership projects between India and Russia in the field of railway transport.

The coupe was developed with an emphasis on comfort during long trips. For this purpose, personal USB chargers, modern lamps, comfortable ladders and niches for storing personal belongings are provided inside. The coupe is also equipped with bottle holders and additional shelves for hand luggage.

The design concept of the first-class sleeping coupe that we showed today is not a pompous place for the chosen few. This is a new level of comfort open to everyone. We really wanted to convey a sense of home and create a space that demonstrates the attention of railway workers to each passenger.
Evgeny Maslov, chief designer of TMH

In addition to the interior, an updated exterior is presented, reflecting modern trends in automotive design with precise detailing of the lights and a dynamic silhouette. The trains will also be equipped with automatic doors with touch controls and toilets for people with disabilities.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Russian Railways started testing the first compartment car of increased size.
